Title: Morning Glory (24hrs later image added)
Post by: David Paterson on September 03, 2015, 18:41:52
The wonderful blue of this little flower almost rivals that of the superb Himalayan Blue Poppy - Meconopsis grandis. (No colour saturation was added during processing).

Next day - a massive change.

Ah, the flower deserves its name.  The blurred orange flowers in the background enhances the blue-ness of the main character.

Glorious!
The tone of that color is like it's Byzantine blue :)

Thanks, all, for your very encouraging posts. I had another look at the flower this morning and there has been a complete colour-change, so that glorious blue actually lasted less than 48 hours. The blue has faded and the star-shaped lighter areas have turned pink! It's like a different flower.

I took a few shots and if they are any good I'll post one.
