Beautiful image Fons.
Do I detect camera shake, what was the shutter speed?

i used a shake reduction sharpen with ps and used the original as 2nd layer seems more obvious here than at my laptop, funny shutter at 1/200,

If this is the 105 DC, this lens can be bitingly sharp and will reveal slight camera shake. 1/200 sec is no guarantee of avoiding that shake issue. After all, the 105 is 2X longer than a normal lens for the FX format and one has to be quite careful to avoid any shake. Not easy of course with such mobile subjects as here.

Fons: I love the expression of your model in #2

AND: I love her style, the wow-colours

On #1 I feel she got into the near zone of the lens too (0.9m close focus distance IIRC)

The 105DC is a great lens but I hear difficult to handle. My brother got the 135DC

the distance is obviously less than 90cm, so minimal focus distance is the limiting factor here

i think this image is cropped, so i doubt that the minimum focus distance is at hand. you can also see that the hair is the part of the image mostly in focus. so something is trying its best to be in focus.
camera shake and the movement of the girl is the culprit, i guess.

Beautiful portrait and kid, but her out of focus left eye is ruining it.
