Title: A seasonal treat...
Post by: rosko on August 25, 2015, 14:34:17
.
After Frank's topic ''preparing the dinner'', here is a recipe of a dessert which I created specially for NG revival members...

Let's come back in the kitchen...

Any comment about presentation/images would be appreciated. ;)

Bon appétit !

Armando, your son will be glad to state how simple it is to make.

Cheers, Francis.

Too late for me, the raspberries are all gone. I may try with blackberries and rhubarb.
Pate sablée?
I will experiment with Grand Marnier as well.
Thank you Francis!

Olivier, sorry for this late answer, I was in behind countries.

Blackberries should be fine although I didn't try instead raspberries. However, blackberries juice might darken the mix while baking.

Please, let us know about the result ! ;)

Raspberry harvest is now at its maximum production in our English garden (late specie), and rhubarb still produces stalks (we use the newest ones) but not for long.

Cheers, Francis.

Francis,

I tried with rhubarb only, the blackberries were disappointing in my garden this year.
Grand Marnier was not well suited, so I left it out...
We enjoyed the result very much, thanks again!
no picture taken as a high speed camera would have been required given the voracity of my kids!
