Not an English river, I trow! But a nice landscape, nicely shot; I'd love to wander those woods for a couple of hours.

I didn't notice you had said it was the Rhine - that's how observant I am.   :-[

If you don't mind me saying so, I think there is more that could be got out of that image - would you mind if I had a go at re-processing it?

I agree too little water also everything is very far away...

Mike - here is my take on your Rhine image. I agree with Armando and Erik that there wasn't enough river showing so I've rather inexpertly added a bit more (not something I would normally do). Otherwise all I did were a few "corrections" to tone and colour, and a very small crop to the LHS.
