Processed with Nik Silver Efex to look more like a vintage 1865 era image.  My interpretation of it, anyway.

a great success! this is very believable as an "old" photo, and quite enjoyable regardless of the time it was made.

This location is called Ohio Village(Ohio History Center in Columbus, OH) and it is used as a learning town that, at that time simulated life in 1860's USA.  This lady was sitting in the telegraph office demonstrating how she made and the uses for pomanders.

This was taken in 2015.  The town has now made a jump to 1890's USA time frame and introduced some upgrades relative to this new time period, including a photographers studio, full time blacksmith, a barber shop and a pedal bike retailer.
