This is an incredible lens, but it has a fatal mechanical flaw.

10cm minimum focusing on a 220-degree fisheye? Yes please.

This?
No thanks.
I measured an official Nikon lens (24-120mm F4S) and Viltrox. The mounting recess for the pin was around the 2mm mark, 1.98-1.99.
The 7Artisans is a staggering 2.51mm!!! That is more than 25% of 2mm. This was not a tolerance issue, it is a design error.
I have contacted 7Artisans. I hope they take this seriously and fix it. Otherwise, I cannot recommend their products and this will be the first and last lens I purchase from them.

I acquired a Thypoch Simera Z 28mm f/1.4 a few months ago. It is cheap but relatively excellent lens, but apparently has an oversized notch for the Z mount locking pin. When moving the focusing ring, the lens slops radially in the mount, cutting down on the speed and accuracy of manual focus, which is already difficult because of the long focus travel of the focus ring. Oh well. I'm still happy to use it because it outperforms my copies of the Z 28/2.8, AiS 28/2.8, and Zeiss ZF 28/2.

This is even worse because Thypoch positioned itself as the 'high end' of purely manual focus Chinese-made lenses. They cannot even the mount right?
What a shame.
