This abandoned barn is located in Wilmington, NC USA. Apparently a former tobacco barn, it has most recently housed farm equipment. Comments encouraged.

The b/w rendition has a dull and flat appearance -- did you just desaturate an original made in colour? If you do such procedure, always think in terms of colour filters: how to maximise image contrast.
On a tangent note, shooting b/w IR on a digital camera renders a very flat and greyish looking image that needs a lot of post-processing to come into its own as b/w.
Sharpness seems OK. The details of the wood panels are nicely reproduced. So is the surroundings. However, I'm missing deep blacks.

An alternative to more Contrast is Clarity, if you use Adobe Bridge - Photoshop
For Ir I would recommend either or, not both together ;)
Also Detail can add a lot if needed.
On B&W IR images you should/can go quite hard with the editing and get a more B&W high contrast looking image

The image was shot using Ilford 120 b & w film; regular processing, using Bronica 6 X 7 camera. Thanks for the critiques! Appreciate your comments.
