Title: Hello to this wonderfull community

Finally took the bold leap to join and support this wonderful community that I’ve been anonymously following for some years now. Have learned, and admired the work of many of this community, with Birna being the pinnacle in her extravagancy (true fan!). Joining a group under thread, sorry, my age is right in the middle of most of you: 63 and just retired, but hope you will accept me as a new member. Got addicted to photography at an early age with a Voigtlander VITORET, but getting really mad when having my father’s FM on loan to a trip to Norway (adore your county Birna, my eyes are in tears at the start of everynew  visit). The rest is history, FG, F301, D700, Df. Many of you will recognize this sequence. love the Zf right now and am enjoying the current Voigtlander series. Have seen that that’s running around in this community as well. Hope that this decision of joining this community will give our mutual passion that we share a new impulse. There are plenty of Dutch people in our ranks, as you probably know very well by now.

Thanks Birna, this is a decision I’ve should have been making much earlier. Proud to have become on a communicating level with you. Not only loving your work (photographic but also scientific) but also you’re general attitude. Would love to meet personally some day!

Hello Jan, welcome. Better late than never. I too have been reading anonymously here for a long time. You'll see how much fun it is to be active, and I'm sure I'm not the only one looking forward to seeing your photos soon.
