Agree the 10-30 is very variable in quality. I have had a few and most die of "natural causes" like excessive internal wear after a period of use. Cheeseparing on quality can be taken too far. Hopefully the mothership learned its lessons?

The 11-27.5 for Nikon AW1 is much more robust besides being a better optical performer. However, you can't have it in pink :)
