Title: A Winter's Tale
Post by: Gil Aegerter on March 18, 2025, 15:44:19
Since we're on the tail end of winter, here's a winter's tale. I wonder what was going on in this image. Commuter trying to decide the best way to get home? Homeless person thinking about the coming night? A resident just out for a walk in the quiet snow? Nikkor 70-300mm f4.5-6.3 AF-P, Nikon D5200.

That's harsh and oppressive. The framing around the person's silhouette makes the shot for me.

  Thanks for sharing it!

A very mysterious shot. The pose of man makes you wonder what's going on.

Thanks Gil

"The pose of man makes you wonder what's going on"

If i zoom in, i wonder if the man is in motion , with his right foot yet to land?
But definitely hunched or bowed down in demeanor.

It makes me think of a line by Raymond Chandler in The Simple Art of Murder.

“Down these mean streets a man must go who is not himself mean…”
