Yes, interesting video.

Normally I will say "if it ain't broke dont fix it".
And for me also in this case (knowing you will get what "they" call weather sealing as benefit).

So far I have not got any problems with the plastic mount and it will stress less on the camera mount.
It is a nice "soft" feeling mounting a lens with plastic mount and it looks easy to replace if broken.

Anybody having "issues" with the plastic mount?

I don't even have the lens but still enjoyed the video. It looks like a possibility if anyone is interested.
