Richard, Nikon made some Nikkor lenses for the Topcon SLRs, which had modified Exackta SLR mounts.

So, could your lens have been one that was originally made for Topcon SLR cameras rather than for Exacktas themselves?

An aside:  although Topcon no longer make cameras, they do still make surveying instruments and medical equipment.

How Will I Know if it is for Topcon :o :o :o
