Title: Speed problems anyone?
Post by: Jürgen Pfeiffer on October 04, 2024, 09:07:52: Lately it sometimes takes minutes to build a page on my computers. Completely loading Photos is very slow. Tried another browser with the same results. I'm on a Mac with OS Sequoia.
Has anyone also problems with loading speed on NikonGear?

Whether I access NG from Windows 7/10/11 or various Linux distros, our pages load very fast.

Post by: Airy on October 04, 2024, 12:10:33: Mac/Sequoia here. No issue. Travel diaries pages are loaded within a fraction of a second. I have not done any benchmark at any time but I think the site is as responsive as ever, and probably best ever.
Added info : I use Firefox (latest release). Browsing speed has been consistently fast today, as it was most of the time.

But – strange – on my other Mac, speed is now also better than yesterday evening. On this mac I didn't clear History. Mmmmhh?

On the other hand, my Telco's performance is generally quite woeful, and the quality of their customer service likewise.
