Hello, I'm searching for a grip for my D5200. Did Nikon ever made a grip for the D5200 because i could only find grips from other brands like Meike.

In short: no! Nikon did not offer an OEM vertical grip for this model. Historically it has been the case that certain "pro" accessories are not developed for cameras falling under the so-called "amateur" or "enthusiast" heading. Indeed many professionals use these very cameras because they get the job done and they know how to use them. Fortunately, as you know, there are OEM options for your D5200 but I caution you to do your research and only purchase the most highly-rated third-party grip. Don't be swayed by extra accessories, like cleaning cloths or cheap lens filters, offered as purchasing incentives by a vendor.
