Title: Modern Copenhagen Architecture
Post by: kasperbergholt on April 15, 2024, 11:26:36
First up is a summer shot of one of the 'Kaktus Towers' in Copenhagen with a view over Vesterbro & the harbour area.

Old Nikon D3 and vintage Nikon 55mm f/2.8 AF micro-Nikkor lens (from around 1987). Image source (https://bergholt.net/kaktus). The link contains a complementary winter photo of the same building (one of the two towers).

Not to everybody's liking. A local paper had a April's Fool story about tearing them down. This lead to the architects behind them to threathen with a law suit. As far as I know, this hasn't happened and the story has been taking down.

Nicely captured, yes that was quite a funny Aprils fool joke - I got a good laugh there ;)
