Ratibida columnifera taken as the sun was rising. Backlit. Fill on the centre of the flower reflected off my white tee shirt.

Physotegia virginiana. Taken a few minutes later. Short stack. A hint of movement in the florets that I've yet to "fix", Ratibidae in the background.
