nice.. you must be very proud

Thanks Bob. He is cute and very good - but I think I prefer my camera toys to babies .... FOR DAMN SURE :)
-
That is obviously the best possible start in life, isn't it?
Maybe a lower vue would have eliminated some of the background on the top of the image? But then of course those delicious hands would have been hidden.

Olivier - you are quite correct. Position and vantage point is so important with babies - and I am not the worlds best baby shooter to begin with... Problem was I was shooting in a space so full of stuff - I had to stand wide legged over a crate of wine, avoid the softbox in my view, or I was in front of the light which was just as bad, and shoot over the foot of the bed which was a foot high - so I had very little space to move or change postion.
Why do you think I prefer my gear to shooting babies... I nearly broke my back trying to shoot this thing.. :)

zooming in on my phone so I would only see the baby ... reveals a very nice portrait
is it a wine crate where she is sleeping?
-
I am not sure what crate it is - but the bottles are wine :)
-
Just wait till they grow up, then they start to drink your wine as well :-) Nice touch to the scene, I like it.
