Rosko - maybe its just me - but I am missing at least one full head - it is like the image is incomplete without this

Yes, its head is hidden.

I should have used continuous shooting mode.

Tighter Francis. In this shot all that matter are the birds. So shoot tight then crop even tighter. Love the birds.

Will try to crop a little more, even if I loose part of environment.
