Shot hand held from a moving boat, 24-120 @ 52 mm and f/5.6 on a D800. Note evidence of prior forest fires and the absence of lake houses.

The stitching went well so I assume the lake surface was calm...
Deep blue water almost like some lakes I worked with in New Zealand back in my scientist days. But landscape is different of course.
Is absence of houses on a lake a noteworthy feature? The steep terrain seems not very conducive to house construction here.
