turns out i don't know hornets from wasps.. so i have probably mislabeled many of the insects i post

Nikon D800E ,Mitutoyo M Plan APO 5x NA 0.14 200/0
180 stack iso100, RAYNOX TUBE 170mm bellows extension, 5mm objective extension - aprox 3.9x

Well Bob, I really do not give a hoot what it is but at, this size and resolution, I do not one that close to me  :) .  Very nice.  I just marvel at images coming from you and Michael.

Another fantastic shot.

Fascinating detail behind the head , it does look organic, more  like a machine
