In just about every Italian town I've been to there is the traveling street market. At least once a week they show up, with vendors offering all sorts of things. Food and flowers, clothing, shoes, and just about everything else. I was not up early, so I had to work with the mid-day sun. And I'm not the one sticking my camera in the face of strangers. Maybe I should be a little bit less norwegian, and just go for it? Here are a few from one quick run throug the piazza on market day.

Going to the markets is one of the biggest attractions for me when I go to Italy...
From the big one in Saló:

Traveling by plane, it's not that easy to bring home any of this food. So I try to eat as much of the goodies that I can when I'm there :-)
Lovely to see that it's not just me enjoying the markets :)

I have the advantage of traveling by car. I usually bring a cooler box full of cheese back....
