Mainau - Lake Konstanz - Germany

(1/1)

PeterN:
Some of you may not have heard from the flower island Mainau in Lake Konstanz. Whenever you plan to visit the southwestern part of Germany, it is well worth a visit (btw: Konstanz too).  The isle is basically a botanical garden with various trees, plants, and flowers. It also features a butterfly garden.  These pictures aresome random photos (or snap shots) from a trip last weekend.  All taken with Olympus PEN-F, 17mm 1.8 lens and a B+W circular polarizer. Thanks for looking.

ArthurDent:
Beautiful shots. You had some really nice weather for your trip, always a great plus.

Thomas Stellwag:
good pictures, showing this place
Bodensee (the German name for the lake) has 2 famous isles:  Mainau for flowers and Reichenau for vegetables

PeterN:
Thank you, Arthur and Thomas.
Good weather indeed helps to admire nature.  Blue skies do help for these type of (vacation) pictures although I do like clouds too!
