Lupines are quickly becoming a major environmental pest along road verges and in fallow fields. Once beloved as ornamental plants, these species are now on the national Black List and their sale is prohibited.

A test run with my newly full-spectrum modified Z6 and the old-timer legend 8.5cm f/2 Nikkor-P (RF), Baader U ("Venus") filter.

very interesting. Lupines refused to grow on my lot, although I put significant amounts of seeds into the ground

generally I am not into sunsets at all, but a few times in my life they were jaw dropping ...

PS: trouble is ... they never look as good on film as the feel when you see them ... so I did a whacky edit to match my feeling ...

Film? It had a fixed color balance, fewer problems than with digital Auto White balance...

I'l assume you have not been using Auto White Balance to photograph sunsets..

Ciao from Massimo

I use the D850 and she delivered a very good RAW representation of the scene technically in AutoWB. The emotional quality I had to process myself into the final file

Beautifully processed. It makes me experience that sunset. I can't wait till September/October when we have those beautiful sunsets again over here.
