Nikkor 28mm f/2.8 Ai repair!

I always consider this lens to be underrated because people want CRC :o :o :o

The Ai-S is sharper up-close but this lens offers better value for less money ::)

Thanks for this, Richard.  I recently acquired a 28/2.8 Ai that needs new grease, and it being non-CRC is appropriate for my skill level.  Oh, and it's a surprisingly good optic that I have already used for good results.
EDIT:  Clever introduction to your article referring to the 'hot sibling'!!

i was an ugly kid back then but chicks like bad boys  ::)

i used a heavier grease for mine, its nicely damped :o :o :o
