An early attempt with my D500
(though more importantly, trying to get my head around Capture NX-D)

The April sunlight did nice things with the surface tension around these floating leaves

The grass is Glyceria fluitans Floating Sweet-Grass. Not sure about the smaller rosettes as these could be one out of several alternatives.

You could try an aperture series, esp this photo could well use f/8 or f/11

Yes, I like it the way it is, but shallow DOF and extreme shallow DOF can make all the difference...

The frequent posts of flowers and plants well indicate the solid arrival of the spring!

I like this rounded rendition of Zeiss Touit 1.8/32.  Rhodotypos scandens.

Super compartiment strucutre with shapes and colors. It has a surreal first impact and is even more interesting the way you arrage reality. A 13 on the 13th for good measures.

   Love the shot Fons. Ole

Very sad day and view...!
With this smoke seen from my window, centuries of history goes up in flame! The Cathedral of Paris is ablaze, and I believe the worst is yet to come, as the stone work will be hit by the high temperature (it wasn't a great quality of stone to begin with).
I could have walked to take some dramatic pictures, but I believe it was better not to add to the crowd viewing the blaze and maybe hindering firemen and police work.

This smoke slowly drifting in the sky of Paris, is for me, more appropriate, as a reminder of how civilizations can be mortal too, and that nothing is really eternal. With this smoke goes Victor Hugo and all the ghosts of Paris that was...
