looks more like fire than snow

Frank lol!  Seriously, those folks apparently tried to burn that house down three times prior (carelessness).

His crystal relatives melted but he didn't, I was too late to get the capture that I envisioned when we had abundant snow, but lighting didn't suit me then.

Also, one of those times when a perfectly exposed shot just didn't capture the mood.

Today Breshna, my 4-year old neighbour visited me again and was spellbound watching my daughter play the big concert harp. She just *had* to try herself ...

100mm f/1.6 Rodenstock XR-Heligon on the Z6. A fast-moving child isn't the easiest subject to follow with a slow-worked manual lens, but I did get close enough on occasion.  The very selective focus and butter-smooth out-of-focus area of the 100 Heligon helped a lot as well.

Its always fascinating to see how different weather can be in the other regions of the world. But I must admit that I getting a bit jealous of all the flowers, after shoveling the road for the third time today..

I am very happy how this thread developed since I started it in January 2016. It has become a joint effort of so many of us here. Thank you all, esp the regulars right from the start: Fons, John, Akira, Armando!!!

Sunny but cold.  A whole new village was built in the Western outskirt of the city.  With playgrounds...
