Nikon Canada D850 Promotion

Hello.  I've noticed that Nikon Canada is offering a free battery grip with the purchase of a D850.  I'm wondering if anybody knows if historically the marketing programs between countries run completely independent of one another or if they sometimes overlap markets?  What I'm actually asking is whether it is possible we may see some kind of promotion here in the U.S.?  Thoughts?

They are running a number of cash rebate programmes here in Australia at the moment.  For example they have a $A300 off (~$US210) offer on the D850 at the moment.

I don't think that the rebates are the same across the world from country to country. 

I have however seen a lot of cash back offers from all of the major camera and lens manufacturers in recent years and Nikon are no exception here.  Add to that a number of post Christmas sales have had a 15% off deal on just about everything, so what with the Nikon rebate and the 15% off, a D850 comes down to about $A3,700 (or ~$US2,600) - this price includes an embedded 10% Goods and Service price, so the pre-GST Tax price is ~$US2,360 on sale priced D850s's with the $A300 rebate.  Stock has a genuine Nikon 2 year warranty - so not grey market stock.

You can go to Nikon USA's website and see any promotional offers. Those offers may, or my not match offers from Nikon importers (AKA baby Nikons) in other countries. Further, reliable sites such as B&H, etc, will show any available Nikon product deals, rebates, etc,  on their websites. Nikon USA pretty much leaves no stone unturned WRT getting the word out when promotions are being run.

Be mindful of Nikon USA's strict rules governing warranty and other Nikon USA provided services before you buy new or used Nikon gear.

Hello Christopher. I think you just missed it here in US as I believe I saw B&H offering it a couple weeks ago.
