Three portraits with the 85mm f/1.4D
« on: December 20, 2018, 00:13:26 »
I find this lens extremely useful and like its result as much as I like the 105mm f/1.4G for portraits.
Thank you for looking.

Nice portraits, indeed!

Wondering if I should trade my afs 85 1.8G for a 1.4- version (Mostly used wide open when doing portraits).....for me the quality of the bokeh is important.

Lovely portraits, Aguinaldo!

How do you find the lens with moving children? I adore the results but sometimes find that it misses focus. Usually on the photograph that would otherwise be the pick of the bunch  :o

Thank you guys.

Ian,
I had no focus problem using this lens and the D5 with this little fella.
I have to say that I don't do this kind of picture very often.

Great portraits.

Love the Lens, great on all camera's and  also a very good performer on the D850.
