Problem posting photos?

Brute:
Have been trying the last couple days to post photos. Everything has been going well up until  clicking on post. Hit post and get this message.....
Anyone else having trouble?

Either file size exceeded the posting limit (2 MB), or file name contains illegal characters.

Brute:
I always use the same size 700x 500. Never had a problem before.
Not sure about illegal characters?

OK redid the photo and left out a '.... Seems that might have been the problem Thanks Ken
