Thank you, Frank!  This statue is very famous.  Someone puts this Santa Claus cap to it every year when the Christmas approatches.

Thank you.  The shutter button had unpleasant and unusual friction.  I found this symptom from the day I had bought it brand new.  And then the button got stuck and the camear was frozen.  Removing and inserting the battery got the camera back to work, but I decided to give it to repair.

Now the shutter button feels as smooth as it should.   :)  The camera was, of course, repaired under warranty.   8)

Frank, I love your little garden. Here in California it has been dry since June and with recent rains the small green things are starting to sprout even as trees start to lose leaves.

It was next to dry here too. but: I did everything to keep the minuscle amount of rain in my garden. And I did water two times in the beginning after planting the small test subject
