Indeed, Excavation, stabilisation then foundations.  We were inserting 25mm rebar pins 6 metres into rock to stabilise the rock and provide an anchor for retaining wall.

a staircase and some filigran columns hold the concrete sheets in place, creating a huge free space per level like Le Corbussier originally imagined. The open space can then be reconfigured ad libitum as can the facade which has no static function. It only keeps the wind out and decorates the building.
