Autumn Silver
« on: November 13, 2018, 04:32:06 »
Nikon gear gathers no rust.  While the Nikon bodies are doing fine, the photographer's body resists getting out.  My friends persuaded me to join with them at our favorite photo hole.  Carrying light, D7200 and 70-200 f/4 at Pitt Polder.  I'll link these ones and add as I endure computer time:

Both images are real eye catchers, very well framed and processed! Well worthy of large prints ;)

Both images convey pleasant atmosphere.  I also love the light you captured.

Frank, what you see in the first image is bright, glancing autumnal sun light on sedges and reflective lily pads strewing a waterway, a marsh or "polder."  The mid ground is a spit which is tree covered, reflective leaves.  The dark background is a mountainside in shade.  I processed the overall contrast of the image to emphasize the whites and the blacks.  I surmise that I have failed you with this image - if I have to describe the content.  Yet, I understand that this scene may seem unfamiliar and difficult to "translate."  I was worried about that.  One has to find out!  In any case, I enjoyed how the light played and made the capture with this high contrast rendering in mind.

Welcome back, Eb!
...
Akira, I do hope I can stay for a while.  My photographic output has been severely curtailed - as has the lust for new equipment.  How is your classical guitar playing going?  It is my greater enjoyment, at the moment!  Unfortunately, age, mind and body, impede my run for the money, in the enjoyment of this matter too.

I understand the picture as an abstract. What my comment aimed at was to understand the biological structure pictured. You helped me with that
