The land of the Dutch is blazoned in Nikonesque colours. In particular the trains.

Raddish, Mustard, Lupines, Phacelia and a super high diversity insect friendly flower and grass mix.

The concept is to use these plants to enhance soil content and structure. Esp the raddish, daikon winter seed, promises to increase soil organic matter and deepen the aerobic layer.

This is a fascinating project Frank, both for horticulture and photography.

Have you ever tried Fenugreek (or as the Indians would say, Methi)? I used to sow this as a green manure, along with Mustard.
Was going to just dig them each in until I noticed the aroma - both are delicious, plus a free source of nutritious greens, ideal for a stir fry or when young maybe even straight into salads.

It might be just a little late for Fenugreek to produce much now, subject to when cold sets in. But tried in April, you'll get something delicious in a few weeks and actual pungent Fenugreek seeds if you leave them long enough

Glider
I'm really jealous Fons.

It's been over 30 years since I was up in a glider.
I'd love to go again

My verdict: Everyone should be " truly '' airborne at least once ;)

Thank you. Sounds like a great idea. My neighbours already wait for the Raddish. hungry. But I do not plant to eat this generation of raddishes. I want to let them rot in the ground

It took some time to find a mint, cheap, Auto-focus Angenieux which was  chipped by Nikon.    ;)

The Angenieux AF  28-70/2.6  (where the chip only displays 2.8)
