Not a sea for swimming!  Is that a red flag?
Haha - still the best way to get sand in your swim suit  ;D

Great capture of the rough sea!
Thanks Frank.

Nice soft selfie, Birna ;)

Love that sea, Armando.  Lovely colours.
That shot makes me homesick of the sea. Low point of view? It is like being there. Excellent choice of what to include and what not. Thanks for sharing Armando

In Spain the flags at tbe beach are: green- no problem, orenge- careful, red-don’t swim. It looks like that here too
Thanks for the comments
Indeed it is a red flag
This beach hosts a surfing championship which one day I hope to photograph

An unbelievable warm period. Today was the 25th day of the heatwave, a new record.

The heat today was a bit tempered by the northern wind.

I am still patiently waiting for the authorities to complete their contemplation on my current construction project

these old cars have some daring design elements compared to the no risk design of most new cars. "no risk" seems to be equivalent with "boring"

No dice, no risk?

Some dice I made in the past few weeks. These are hand made. No electric tool came near these at any stage during their creation.

Even though the moral question surfaces here, whether or not it can be satisfying to use parts of dead animals for personal entertainment, I do believe that in using these parts that were sold as dog chewies, I rather repurposed material originally designated as "left overs" or "waste" towards a personal learning experience.

In making these dice and learning about old scandinavian dice games I hope to find an opening to scandinavian, and more specific, viking culture that I have not personally explored before.

Making these dice, using methods people back then most likely used, and very similar tools as well, at least opens my mind to possibilities far away from the realm of modern day mass production.

I do hope to explore further aspects of viking culture, and do not exclude the possibility of trying my hand at agriculture, baking, woodcraft and leatherworks next.

As a footnote, horn dice sound really different from modern plastic/resin dice when rolled. They have a very pleasant weight and texture, adapt to the temperature of ones hand very pleasantly and they sound beautiful compared to "plastic" dice.

Interesting about the dice, as horn is a natural product, how do you ensure that the density is consistent throughout so as to ensure fair rolling?

Very nice concept and PP, Armando!  It took some time until I notice the point color, though.  I may want to place the mirror a bit closer to the center?

Good use of the salvaged lens, Bruno!  My Ai200/4.0 (the same optics) serves me very well, too.
