If that heat radiates from the body, I don't wanna
know the temperature inside the chip(s)… so I plug
it for the time of transfer only.
Light is free… capturing it is not!

That's a good plan.  ;D

My Firewire SanDisk CF reader is cool as a cucumber, all the time.  To achieve the throughput of XQD appears to need an active card reader.
