The UK is enjoyng a prolonged heat wave; the temperatures are close to what I consider summer, and the grass in the fields is turning yellow, just like it should during summer (at least, where I come from).
I never experienced such enjoyable weather in 11 years of living in England.
Given all this, and that I had leftover holidays to be taken by the end of June, this morning I embarked on a big tour of the Peak District by bike.
Differently from my usual bike rides, this time I allowed time for a few stops for photos and carried with me the small but reasonably capable RX100.
The images are little more than snapshots, but I enjoyed the day and the different kind of cycling, more relaxed and less focused on performance.
