Brilliant #1 is a super pose, #2 is a well caught moment 3 & 4 I really like seeing the birds returning with food for the family.  #5 looks cross and the chick stumbles, trying to keep balance.  Lovely capturing those moments.

Yes, +1 from me also.

Oyster catchers often visit southern New Zealand and were frequent visitors to the farms near to where I grew up.

I notice that some of these birds have been banded - is there a conservation program for these birds in your area Bob?
