Vibration-free, and with a relatively quiet atmosphere except for a few moments.  Must have been a smallish sensor (m4/3 or 1") with a 800mm or thereabouts?  Amazing for 16km distance.

Impressive! The Canary Islands are known to be a great spot for astronomy. This may have been shot with a telescope. It would explain the high magnification and the very stable setting.

I realize how fast the moon and the sun travels whenever I shoot the sunrise (even with a standard lens) or the moon in the sky.  And the video proves that in a stunning way.
