You are juggeling with the English language :) And your probably right! ;)

I see a lot of Fuji Xn on the shoulder of a lot of photographers also shooting Canon and Nikon...

It is hard to argue that FUJI X is a niche system as is Leica. But you can see both FUJI and Leica on the street, because they are used by street photographers   
But I have never seen someone with a FUJI X camera with a big lense attached, like 16-55 f/2,8 or 55-140. Or even 10-24. This is a very small nieche I guess :)
