John, I've never seen a flowering cypress before, very pretty. The whole tree must make quite a show.

Norwegian houses traditionally had (and many still have)  an entrance lock designed to prevent cold air from entering the living quarters. This dilapidated house is what is known as a "croft" in Ireland and Scotland and originates probably from late 1800's.
