From yesterday, not long term relationships.

First outing with my new Fuji 80 mm macro.

Nice pictures.
Tell us about the light source you used.
There is a dirt spot on the sensor (close to the frog's leg).

Armando, Akira, atpaula, thanks, glad you like them.

Atpaula, well done for seeing the dirt spot.  Cleaning time tomorrow!

Nice pictures.

The light source was two Elinchrom softboxes with flash units triggered by an on-camera controller.  They were set up roughly equidistant from the subject, on opposite sides  about 45% to the subject, and slightly above the subject.  So a fairly simple setup.

Anthony:

Great fun, some real characters.  What was the venue?

The oof areas on the legs  are rendered a bit coarsely on the first one.  What settings were you using?

Very nice indeed.

I was just looking at a small greenhouse for the backyard yesterday, thinking about all the cool macro images that could be done in that environment.  You have inspired me to look into that further.

Cheers

Randy

Thanks, Eric and Randy.

The venue was the new London showroom of Wex, a large UK photographic retailer.  They hold events there, and this was a macro photography course.

The settings on the first were ISO 200, 1/160 and f14.

Enjoy the macro fun.
