My move out of Oslo is underway ... as a certified freak I've been hauling photo and audio gear all day long. Still a couple of days of strenuous labour left before the moving company kicks in and shifts all the furniture and suchlike stuff, though.

A basic audio setup is taken through its first testing stages.

Good luck Bjørn, moving can be a very stressful time.  I have done it way too often.

I went on a long walk with an old friend to a quarter I used to live in when I was a child (I know every corner and what is behind it). I love it that rents there are still cheap and many poorer people live there in relative peace together with very few rich people and a lot of middle class. It is very green there but the city did not put any significant money into developing the quarter for 30 years, they are only just starting to. Cheap housing is also a matter of architecture and this house features some interesting solutions: inspiring architecture, affordable

Is that from the seventies?  Or later?

They even have monument protection for the interiour of some of the buildings. Wood work replication US taste of the 1950ies. Great!

I did a test, trying to destroy a file by saving JPEGs as JPEGs six times in a row. But I still did not manage to destroy this super resiliant file taken with my D850. Either the algorithms got so much better, or my method was still not aggressive enough. Till today I thought JPEG with quality 5/12 *I*S* destructive in one throughput, but it seems not to be destructive enough to show kids krass JPEG artifacts after 6 throughputs. Strange.

Went out the take some pictures of a chimney ready for deconstruction, ended with a picture of a new energy plant.
Some sort of rubberneck syndrome as well.
D800, 24-70 F2.8 @f8 and 24mm (Architecture)
The other is a pano of 3 pictures, also D800 and 24-70 @32mm, the chimney at the right is the one that we be re-used.
It will the taken down with a machine crawling on the inside.
