Nice report, Ric!  Has the shop moved?  IIRC, the original Lucky Camera was located much closer to the Shinjuku Station and next to the porn movie theater?  :D

Camera stores with that kind of used equipment selection disappeared in the Los Angeles area in the 1980's.

Camera stores have disappeared altogether in the San Bernardino valley. Are there any camera stores left in Hollywood or do I have to drive to NY, NY to find a brick and mortar with a professional stock.

I used to do most of my buying at Lee-Mac Camera Exchange in Pasadena, CA. I had an open account from 1977 to 2002 when they closed. I sometimes drove to Hollywood.

I really miss something like this in Copenhagen.
I just browsed their website, unfortunately it is only in Japanese if you want to see what they have in stock.
Wonder if they ship to Europe?

I doubt it. Maybe they can if you ask :o :o :o

shops here rarely ship pverseas due to the hassle.

Yes, Alps-Do is a fun shop.  I've seen Ais 1200/11 ED-IF there sold for 298,000 JPY several years ago.   8)
