Autumn compositions

Panasonic GH5, Olympus M.Zuiko 25/1.8.

CORRECTION:

The lens used to shoot these particular images was actually Ai Nikkor 200/4.0 via adapter.  What I was thinking about!   :-[

I do use M.Zuiko 25/1.8 most of the time, though.

Sorry Akira, color compositions are beyond my eyes' super powers...
Do you have a new camera? Do you also shoot video?

Olivier, I know that the images don't necessarily entertain you fully.  Sorry about that.  Hope you would be interested in another recent thread of mine here:

I have always opted for a less obtrusive camera system than DSLR (APS-C or full frame) in terms of size and shutter sound, and finally I took the final plunge into m4/3.  I know that the choice of GH5 is contradictory, because it is the largest and heaviest camera ever produced for m4/3.  But still I can use it in combination with dedicated lenses that are much smaller than the ones for larger formats.  The Olympus 25/1.8 (standard lens for m4/3) is much shorter than Panasonic 25/1.7, and the combo can be hung from my left shoulder without worrying about the lens hood hitting something.  :)  The EVF of GH5 is the first one ever that will leave almost no strain in my eye, which is a very important factor for a mirrorless camera with EVF to me.

Akira, I like the second shot a lot.
We have a similar scene not far away, where an apple tree is showing off fruit against the background of an industrial hall.
A spectacle that repeats itself every year. Nobody ever collects the apples.

Thomas, thanks for the comment.  Glad there is one you like!

The fruits are actually persimmons which are very common and popular autumn fruits in Japan.  The owner should collect them but traditionally not all of them: we leave one persimmon so that the birds can eat.  The left one is called "Ki-mamori" meaning, the caretaker of the tree (so I would translate).
