Startling and beautiful color, but the red is still blown out on my laptop.

Roaming through this thread, some very impressive images!
Paco, illustrates it nicely with the last image posted. Gently-brutal if I may say so :)

Asian Citrus Psyllid (Diaphorina citri) and Huanglongbing...

A few pictures of a lucky friend's citrus tree leaves showing Asian Citrus Psyllid leaf damage and a possible dead nymph. The tree is/was infested and may be infected but symptoms of huanglongbing take time to show up. The fruit will fail to develop and ripen, parts of the tree will die. Eventually in about ten years if the tree is not destroyed complete tree will die. Currently there is no cure for huanglongbing

If the trees test positive for huanglongbing the CDFA (California Department of Farming and Agriculture) will destroy them.

And the leaves that are green turn to brown
And they whither with the wind
And they crumble in your hand

--Paul Simon

CDFA agents told my friend her trees are the first to be found with an Asian citrus psyllid infestation in San Bernardino Country.

1) leaf curl
2) sooty mold
3) possible dead nymph
Beatniks are out to make it rich
Oh no, must be the season of the witch

Thank you, Bent.  "She" looked irresistible.  It has been warm well up to the end of Autumn in Tokyo this year, so we still have a few autumn leaves...
