Why do people get angry?

I accept critique by people who's work or opinions I admire, who show pictures I'd like to have taken. Rick and Bez and Gary and Fons and Andrew and Paco and Aguinaldo and Ron and many others here, who are much better photographers than I am. I want to learn and I am learning all the time by just looking at their work.

If people come who'se pictures I regard as boring or crap and try to lecture me I regard their voices as irrelevant.

I also make a difference between critical advice = helpful and ad hominem attacks = should be deleted.

+1 "Critique is best given when asked for..."

I don't give a lot of advice as I don't feel I'm a good enough photographer to be doing that.

Yup, thats why I leave cell phone and every gadget at home at walks for hours in the mountains, all alone, like this, this is me:
