Scotland in Color
« on: September 21, 2017, 14:58:06 »
After the monochrome series, I thought to post some landscape photos in color.

1-4 in Glencoe area, 5 in Kinlochleven, and 6 on the road to Mallaig (Ardnambuth). The Jacobite train used for the Happry Potter movies passed here. In fact, we waited for an hour to see the train passing.

Thank you for your kind words. The light can be amazing in-between rain showers.

Herewith some more from the Isle of Skye:

Peter, you captured the majestic landscape under the moody climate in Scotland really nicely.

I particularly like the second one in the second batch.  In the very last image, you were blessed with the clouds, too!

Thank you Akira. Yes, I was lucky to have those clouds and the polarizer.

Herewith another batch, taken along the scenic road between Inverness and Pitlochry (A939 and a93).

I really love the first shot very much. Composition and colours and light give me a sense of being there and being in a dreamscape at the same time

Wonderful serie of images, PeterN!

Not easy to choose a favorite, because there`s something special with every one of them. Really like your compositions! Also like the deep colors and the dramatic sky. The people in the pictures gives the images an extra "dimension". Don`t see work like this very often, nice work!
