Franks thx for looking. 
Beeing not interested to initiate another personal discussion  about Americans, I want to point out,
that I think there were a lot of native or 2nd generation people, as Heidelberg was their military headquarter in the last 60 years.
This means the 50ies to 80ies is strongly in their mind and in the mind of the local German observers
