Oooooh, how I like the last flowers and the narrow streets!!

+1 (or a thousand, i have nothing original to say  ::) )

The entire series is outstanding and a fresh take on destination photography (a.k.a. travel photography).

You knew already that i like your style  8) ;D

Jakov, I thoroughly enjoyed your series. As always, your fisheye and lower photos (ok, just one this time) are spectacular. Sharing the history behind the statues was very helpful.
I think my favorite photo is 20170913 (the apartment building with the yellow colors. The combination of composition, lines, repeating elements and colors worked very well.

Ha, Hans is agreeing with me!  :)

Nikola Tesla and Black George are special. As is the temple. And then, of course, my favourite selfie! Pardon, self-portrait.  ;D

Dear Tom, thank you so much for your kind words!
You can easily achieve the same results with the 135DC in your garden. Rotate the DC ring all the way to F and shoot away :)

Dear John, yes, the architecture is more or less the same in the entire region, just like in Holland ;) Thanks!

Thank you, Fons, I am glad you like it!

Hans, I can hardly wait for us to do some street shooting again in two weeks time :) Thank you, it's feeding my ego to hear that someone likes my style of photography!

Thank you PeterN for your kind comments! It's always nice to shoot various themes with various lenses, just like we will do again in a fortnight :)

Smusesuse, Hans always agrees with you since the Black Forrest trip :) Nikola Tesla and Black George are special characters, I am glad you find my rendering of them as special, as the temple and the lovely corner house :)

Thank you all once again for your views and especially the comments. More of the subtle architecture to follow...

Jakov, as I mentioned on Facebook, I really love the small shop (?) reminding me of some Van Gogh!

Also, the Yellow building with the scattered air conditioners seems to be a nice subject for the "Rubberneck Syndrome".  :D

Dear Akira, the Van Gogh house sells leather accessories.
I can hardly wait to practice the rubberneck syndrome in Tokyo one day...
Thanks!

I forgot to add this one for Bjørn, I know how much he would enjoy the Montenegrin flora :)
I don't know if what I captured is worth while, though...

Really liked this one; nice colors and with a smoooooth bokeh that let`s us see the environment, though in a non- distractive way. Gave me a real "summer feeling"  :).

Jakov, thanks for the detail of the Van Gogh house.  I'm very curious!  As for the rubber neck upwards and sideways (lol), the first two buildings are really photogenic!

Frode, thank you so much for your comment. If only the summer could last a bit longer...

Thanks, Akira! My neck is building up muscles :)

And the last part of the subtle architecture of Belgrade.
Until next time...

Again, I am overwhelmed by the nice comments that I have received in this thread!!!

I came for a short visit and I am staying at my dear friends Maja and Bora Minić (sis and bro).
They are blessed with a spectacular view of Belgrade as can be seen in the attached image.

Dear Thomas, thank you for your comment.
The small Dutch company fish-eye travel organized a gathering 6 weeks ago. Haven't you heard? :)

Thanks, John!
Yes, birds. I nestled the 85/1.4 onto the glass of the window for extra support and slowed down the shutter speed to 1/15s.

Jakov, I was not aware of an official trip, maybe fish-distortion in the offer was too much for my eyes
I keep looking and am interested, depending on time/job
