My garden is teeming with duckweed and other aquatics at present. The strain in the foreground in fact is the subject for the duckweed photo Jakov admired earlier :D

Taken today when there was a break in the intermittent heavy rain we have had recently. Df with 8-15 Fish.

It's nice to see the distracting bridge :)
Thanks Armando

This is the backdrop for the "model shoot by the river" I guess?
Yes,  it is from the complete opposite site.    (had very limited time in Mostar, and not really able to pick a location I would have liked. The disadvantage of a 'group'-travel.)

After (too) hard work  a naughty flu caught me...

This is from yesterday. Artist Ans Marcus explains how she portrayed the mayor in her painting. The mayor is leaving next week. Every Mayor of Tilburg is portrayed when he leaves. A tradition since 1809 and an unique view over the two centuries. We are hoping to see the first female Mayor of Tilburg in the coming weeks.

I've only wanted a Corvette since 1956. I still don't have one.

I know how you feel Dave !

The gentleman that owns this 1955 bought it from the original owners with his parents help in 1961 and has owned it ever since.

He had a frame off restoration done some years ago and the car is simply beautiful.

today I made plum wraps for a school event tomorrow ... not exactly vegetarian but as a saying from the time of the Spanish Inquisition goes: "properly prepared pork converted more than fire and sword"
